The Dragon’s Lookout

A personal dragon illustration focusing on form exploration, light direction, and structured anatomy.
For this illustration, I wanted to challenge myself by using a shape carving workflow to block out the creature's muscle groups and establish strong, volumetric forms before moving into final rendering and texture.
The goal was to capture a stark, atmospheric mood using directional volumetric light rays to pull the creature out of a deep, cool-toned background.

Painted fully in Procreate.
